Tennokoe Bank

At some point during the life of the PC Engine some bright spark engineer must have though "I've just put half my life into Soldier Blade and as soon as I switch the console off it's all gone. Well Fuck 'dat".

And so they clever PC Engine guys designed an add-on to the original HuCard systems and built storage into the CD units.

This is all well and good; but apparently if you don't power up your console enough, bye bye to your scores.

Thus the Tennokoe Bank card was released. This allows you to backup to or from your PC Engine unit, cunningly designed to save the information for all time.
It features four "boxes" you can choose for storage, the idea being you can take your box to a friends house, or copy their saves into a box on yours. All nice and friendly like.

The good news is that it also works with my Super CD-Rom², which I had some doubts about. It should also be pointed out that not all CD or HuCard games have the ability to save scores.
