...or I think it's now called City Pavilion.

This is truly my local arcade. Or rather, our bowling alley. Wow. Not been here for a few years, decided to pop in today to see if anything's changed, and it has!! Games are new(ish) and well kept.

This pusher's pretty cool. Takes 10pees.

There was this strange prize game with Sega remote control helicopters in them.

Two things:
I didn't realise there was a Blazing Angels arcade game, did you play it?
What did Ford Racing look like (as shite as I would expect?).

Oh, and what did the environment feel like. For some reason it doesn't look all that family friendly, it seems a bit dark. Nice carpet though.

All you need is good quality diffused light for a friendlier looking arcade.

i'd love that TC4 cab

besides needing a few fighters and shmups thats a decent setup

i'd love that TC4 cabI looked at Time Crisis 4 for the PS3 on the shop shelves for a while now. Is it any good?
I know there's an extra mode as well as the arcade mode. I'd be happy with the arcade mode alone even if the extra mode is as bobbins as I've heard.

Sorry for being a bit off topic.

It's a bowling alley, it is supposed to be family friendly, but age has caught up with it so they are having a refit at the moment. I went there over lunch en route to the post office and the library, so I didn't stay. I will go back and play that Blazing Angel and Silent Hill.

Ahh!! Good Ol' Romford!! My old "stomping ground" when i was a wee nipper!:laugh:

Still wear "white socks" even now!!:laugh:

I have to admit that arcade looks pretty awesome with plenty of driving shizzle for me!!....could do with an afterburner climax in there though....with a little drop of SF Zero3 & a couple of shmups....

maybe you can have a word with them about that vib!!:wink:
