i can't compare with the arcade version cos i have only played it a few times long ago, but i know what you mean and this is as good as i can get it, it was almost unplayable before i tinkered with it. however, not knowing how the arcade version goes, you don't question it and it does play and feel natural. it would probably be tighter if it was even more sensitive, but as it is it is pretty darn good. i would imagine all the other games are like this too, whether it's not sensitive enough or it's too sensitive. as long as it feels responsive, it's good enough for me.
