Happy FAO Schwarz - Las Vegas

So here's one of those lesser places with the odd arcade machine I mentioned before.

I have never been to New York, so never been to _THE_ FAO Schwarz as seen in the film BIG.

When we came across this in the Forum Shoppes adjoining Caeser Palace, I was pretty wowwed by the giant trojan horse they had by the entrance!!

The body of the horse formed part of the shop on the second level.

They had a lot of 1950/ 1960 style mechanical toys (which I didnt take a photo of cos I was messing with them and one of the girls came up to me and started talking to me about them).

    Here's Curious George anyway.

Gamewise, they had this (as did a lot of other places), a twin Planet Harrier which I haven't seen since one of the cruises, and a couple of lightgun games.

    that's it in the background!

always tough to take pictures with kids in them nowadays without being thought of as a potential pedophile. also, there were loads of shop assistants around on this floor just hanging around, and i wasn't sure if i am allowed to take photos. so with the wife shielding me, i managed to take the photo that you see in the 1st post.

Big was an awesome film. I still haven't found the Zoltar machine they used in the film, always find some other updated version instead.

I bet they had one just painted on.

And at weekends they have an old guy to come in and watch people stepping on it and plays the notes on his old worn upright.

I know how these places operate.

'fraid not. the place is too small to have such extravagance.
