    Default MVS battery leaking

    I left my bad battery in too long, don't do this!! lol....

    going to have some major cleanup when I get a new battery on there. It got the chip next to it too :( any idea exactly what battery to use? any 3.6v?

    Oooh, that's harsh.
    My guess would be a 3.6V; but the 6 slot I had and the 1 slot I have have both use(d) 2032 button type batteries.

    I have to get that and get it done before it gets worse. Radio shack after work tomorrow.

    I looked hard for some NiCd 3,6V battery that would fit on the 6-slotter but nada, rien, ingenting, niks, zip, nothing.

    In the end I just took an AA battery holder for 3 cells and soldered some wires, looks awefull but does the job.

    If you are going to use a standard battery like the CR2032 you need to disable the charging circuit.
